TRACII GUNS To Appear On 'The Price Is Right'

April 15, 2011

L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns has issued the following update via his Facebook page:

"Just found out I get to shred on 'The Price Is Right' [an American game show in which contestants compete to identify the pricing of merchandise to win cash and prizes] next Tuesday [April 19] and it airs May 9. I will be playing the Dean guitar that the contestants will be bidding on,,,,, I only get 10-20 seconds so, I gotta just shreddddddd!"

The Tracii Guns-led version of L.A. GUNS last year inked a deal with the Steve Vai-owned label Favored Nations/Jibboom, which is Favored Nations Entertainment's rock/metal division.

Favored Nations/Jibboom reissued the 1999 L.A. GUNS album "Shrinking Violet" in May 2010. The LP was completely repackaged with new artwork and five brand new, never-before-heard, live bonus tracks.

L.A. GUNS has been touring in two competing lineups: one featuring Tracii Guns, and another led by his Eighties bandmates, singer Phil Lewis and drummer Steve Riley.
